A traditional form of international cooperation is the partnership between sister cities. Over the years, Dobrich has established a number of partnerships: some have died away, some are still continuing, and others are actually quite ‘young'.

These contacts are based on twinning agreements which define the relationships between the towns.

Our most active partnerships are with the following towns:

Saratov (Russia), Ismail (Ukraine), Pinsk (Belarus), Novi Sonch (Poland), Zalaegerszeg (Hungary), Golmud (China),  Schaffhausen (Switzerland), Constanta (Romania), etc.
